Availability and service area
Set your usual working days, how far you travel, and days you are away. Here is exactly what each setting changes.
Open Manage, then Availability. The page has three parts. Each one saves on its own, so remember to tap its save button.
Weekly schedule
- Tick each day you usually work. Days you leave unticked show Unavailable.
- Set the start and end time for each day you work.
- Tap Save schedule. You will see "Schedule saved".
What it changes today: your weekly schedule is your general working hours. Bookings come through mini sessions, and each session has its own times and slots, so your weekly schedule does not limit or open up those slots. Packages are requests, which you answer yourself. Keep it up to date anyway; it is part of your setup checklist.
Service radius
How far you will travel for a shoot.
- Drag the slider (5 to 100 miles), or tap one of the quick buttons: 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles.
- Tap Save service radius.
Your profile shows it to clients as "Within 25 miles" (or whatever you chose), unless you have said on your Profile that you travel nationally or internationally. You can also change it on your Profile, along with the towns you cover.
Blocked dates
For holidays, personal days and anything else.
- Pick the Date.
- Add a Reason (optional), like "Vacation". Only you see it.
- Tap Block date.
Each blocked date is listed with a Remove button.
What it changes: a blocked date shows on your Calendar, and nobody can book you that day. A mini session set for a blocked day disappears from the booking page, and its page warns you, until you unblock the day. To close just a few times instead of the whole day, block those slots on the session's page.
You can also block a day straight from the Calendar with Block this day.
Good to know
- The simplest way to control bookings is on each mini session: its date, its slots, and the Slots grid where you can block single times.
- The setup checklist on your dashboard home ticks off "Set your availability and service area" once you have saved a schedule.
