Your profile

Your profile is your public page on Nipcy. Set your link, photos, portfolio, theme and the details clients need, then tap Save changes.

On this page

Your profile is the page clients land on when they look you up. It shows your work, your sessions and packages, your reviews and a way to get in touch. You edit it from Manage, then Profile, or by tapping your initials at the top right of any dashboard page.

To see it the way clients do, tap Preview Profile → at the top of the page. It opens in a new tab.

The Your public link card sets the address of your profile, for example nipcystudio.com/portfolio/your-name.

  1. Type the name you want in the box. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.
  2. Nipcy checks it as you type. You will see is available. or Taken. Try another.
  3. Tap Save. The button only works once the name has changed and is free.
  4. Tap Copy to copy the full link.

You can change it later. Your old link still works, so links you already shared keep landing on your profile.

Your plan

The Your plan card shows which plan you are on, its price and how many photos it holds. Tap Upgrade or Change plan to see the plans, and Manage billing to update your card or see invoices. Everything about plans is in Plans and billing.

Profile photo, logo and cover

Each of these saves as soon as you upload it. You do not need to tap Save changes.

  • Profile photo: tap Upload photo. A clear photo of your face works best.
  • Studio logo: tap Upload logo. It appears on your galleries, contracts, invoices and emails. A wide logo around 400 by 200 pixels fits best. Use Replace logo or Remove to change it.
  • Cover photo: tap Upload cover photo. This is the wide banner at the top of your profile, about 1600 by 400 pixels. Use Replace cover or Remove to change it.

All three take JPEG, PNG or WebP files up to 50 MB.

Your portfolio

The Portfolio card holds the photos shown in the work section of your profile.

  1. If you want, pick a category in Upload category first.
  2. Drag photos onto Drop photos here or click to upload, or tap it to choose files. You can add several at once.
  3. The first photo is your cover photo for the portfolio.

To change a photo, tap the ⋯ button on it:

  • Set as cover moves it to the front.
  • Delete removes it after you confirm.

Tap View public portfolio → to check how it looks.

You can send one of your portfolio photos to be shown on the Nipcy homepage, with credit to you.

  1. In Get featured on the Nipcy homepage, tap Choose a photo.
  2. Add A line about it (optional).
  3. Tick the box to confirm you took the photo, you have permission from the people in it, and Nipcy may show it with credit.
  4. Tap Send for review.

Your submissions shows each one as Waiting for review, On the homepage or Not this time.

Your details

These fields are in the main form. Tap Save changes at the bottom when you are done. You will see Profile saved!.

  • Business name: the name clients see on contracts, invoices, galleries and emails. Leave it blank to use your own name.
  • Tagline: one line under your name.
  • Bio: a few sentences about you and how you work.
  • City and State: required.
  • Phone: required. Nipcy uses it for booking alerts.
  • Show a Call button on my public profile: when this is on, clients on a phone see a Call button. When it is off, your number stays private.
  • Service radius (miles): how far you travel. It is shown on your profile so clients know where you work.
  • Years of experience, Instagram and Website URL: optional.

Where you work

This box tells clients, and search engines, which places you cover.

  • Tick I travel nationally or I travel internationally if you do.
  • In Towns and areas you cover, put one place per line, up to 40.
  • Travel notes is a short note, for example about travel fees.

Common questions

These are questions and answers shown on your public profile. They also help search engines understand what you offer.

  1. Tap Add a question, or tap one of the starters under Or start from one of these.
  2. Type the question and your answer.
  3. Use the up and down arrows to change the order. Tap Remove to delete one.
  4. Tap Save changes.

A question with an empty answer is dropped when you save. You can have up to 30.

Choose a theme and font

Profile theme changes the whole look of your profile. There are nine:

  • Editorial: magazine style, bold and dramatic.
  • Minimal: clean and elegant, lots of space. This is the default.
  • Dark: like a gallery exhibition, photos pop.
  • Story: warm and timeless, big serif headlines.
  • Sage: soft greens, arched photos.
  • Cream: warm creams, square corners.
  • Romantic: white and cream, full-screen hero.
  • Folio: magazine layout, white and cream.
  • Charcoal: split hero, swipe-through gallery.

Heading font sets the font for your headings. A preview shows it as you choose. Your link in bio page uses the same theme.

Tap Save changes to apply them.

What clients see

Your public profile shows, depending on what you have set up:

  • your cover, name, tagline and bio
  • your portfolio
  • your journal posts, if you have any (see Journal)
  • your packages and your upcoming sessions clients can book
  • your common questions and the places you cover
  • your reviews
  • a way to get in touch

Good to know

  • Your profile goes live once your email is confirmed. Until then, clients cannot open it. See Getting started.
  • On a computer, the page has two columns: photos and portfolio on the left, the form on the right. On a phone, everything is in one column, starting with your link and plan.
  • Photo, logo and cover save on their own. The rest of the form only saves when you tap Save changes.
