Link in bio

One short page of buttons for your Instagram or TikTok bio. Nipcy builds the main buttons for you, and you can add your own links.

On this page

Your link in bio page is a simple page of buttons, made for the one link Instagram and TikTok let you put in your bio. It matches your profile theme and updates itself as you add sessions, journal posts and reviews. Open it from Manage, then Link in bio.

Every change on this page saves straight away. There is no Save button for the page.

Before you start

Your link page lives at nipcystudio.com/l/your-name, using the same name as your profile link. If you have not chosen one yet, the page asks you to Choose it now, which takes you to your Profile.

The Paste this into your bio box shows your link.

  1. Tap Copy.
  2. Paste it into the website field of your Instagram or TikTok profile.
  3. Tap Preview to open the page in a new tab and check it.

If you later change your profile link, the link in your bio keeps working.

The buttons Nipcy adds for you

Nipcy adds these buttons when there is something behind them:

  • Book a session: when you have at least one published session. If you have exactly one, it goes straight to that session's booking page.
  • Packages & pricing: when you have packages clients can request.
  • See the work: always.
  • Journal: when you have at least one published post.
  • Reviews: when you have at least one review.
  • Full profile: always.
  • Get in touch: always.
  • Instagram: when you have added your Instagram handle on your profile.
  • My website: when you have added your website on your profile.

Change, hide or reorder buttons

Each button in the list has its own controls:

  • Up and down arrows move it. The order saves at once.
  • The pencil lets you change What the button says (up to 60 characters). Tap Save, or Cancel. To undo your wording on a Nipcy button, tap Back to followed by its original name.
  • The eye shows or hides it. Hidden buttons look faded and are marked Hidden.
  • The bin removes it. This only appears on links you added yourself.
  1. Tap Add your own link.
  2. Fill in What the button says, for example "Print shop".
  3. Add the web address, for example etsy.com/shop/yourname.
  4. Tap Add link.

You can add up to 20 of your own links. If an address does not look right, you will see That does not look like a web address.

Good to know

  • Taps are counted. You can see how many people opened your link page and tapped its buttons on Analytics.
  • On a computer, the link box stays on the right while you scroll. On a phone, it is at the top.
  • Your profile must be live for the link page to open, which means your email needs to be confirmed.
  • Search engines are asked not to list this page, so it will not compete with your full profile in search results.
