Getting started
Galleries
- Organising your galleriesGalleries live inside groups, and groups live inside folders. Make a folder for a year, a group for each shoot, and a gallery for each set of photos you share.
- Uploading and managing photosOpen a gallery and tap Upload, or drag photos onto it. Each photo can be up to 50 MB. Then select, sort, reorder, download or delete them.
- Gallery settingsOpen a gallery and tap Settings to choose its cover, welcome message, look, expiry date and password, and to turn proofing, client downloads and photo names on or off.
- Sharing a galleryOpen the gallery, tap Share, then Generate Share Link. Send the link by text or email, or show the QR code. To share a whole group of galleries with one link, use Share Collection.
- Client feedback and proofingClients can heart photos, leave notes, and with Proofing on, pick their favourites and submit the list to you. You read and answer it all from the gallery.
- Live and event modeGo Live makes new uploads appear for clients within seconds. Event mode adds a big QR code for guests and a one-time QR for each new photo, so guests can grab their own picture on the spot.
- Gallery slideshowTurn on the slideshow, pick music, timing and transition, and save. Your client gets a Play slideshow button that plays a video of the gallery they can also download.
- What your clients seeYour client opens the link, sees the cover, taps View your gallery, and can heart, comment, pick favourites and download in three sizes. On an iPhone, photos save straight to their Photos app.
Sessions and bookings
- Sessions and booking requestsThe Sessions page is where you answer requests, see who is booked, wrap up finished shoots and ask for reviews.
- Setting up a mini sessionCreate a session, set the time slots and price, choose how clients pay, publish it, and share a link clients can book from.
- Your calendar (Booking Pulse)See your year at a glance, check what is on any day, and block days you are not working.
- Availability and service areaSet your usual working days, how far you travel, and days you are away. Here is exactly what each setting changes.
- Services and packagesList what you offer with prices on your profile, see what each session will really earn you, and let clients request a package.
Contracts, invoices and payments
- ContractsWrite a contract once as a template, send it to a client by email or link, and they sign it online in a minute. Signing books the date and creates their gallery.
- InvoicesCreate an invoice, send your client a link, and they pay by card on a secure page. You can also record cash, check or bank payments yourself.
- Getting paidConnect your own Stripe account and clients can pay your invoices and deposits by card. The money goes straight to you; Nipcy takes nothing.
- QuestionnairesBuild a form once, send clients a link, and their answers come back to you before the shoot.
Clients and email
- ClientsEvery client who books, enquires, signs or pays is added to your client list automatically, with their sessions, invoices, contracts and notes in one place.
- Emails and automationsChoose which emails go out to clients on their own, write the wording once, and set up email sequences that send over days or weeks.
- MessagesMessages is a record of the emails Nipcy has sent to your clients for you. It is not an inbox, so make sure your emails tell clients how to reach you.
Your profile and getting found
- Your profileYour profile is your public page on Nipcy. Set your link, photos, portfolio, theme and the details clients need, then tap Save changes.
- Link in bioOne short page of buttons for your Instagram or TikTok bio. Nipcy builds the main buttons for you, and you can add your own links.
- JournalWrite articles that live on your own profile, like "What should we wear for family photos?", and publish them when they are ready.
- Content StudioPick photos from your galleries and Nipcy schedules them as social posts with captions written for you. You copy and post them yourself.
Business tools
- Pricing calculatorWork out what to charge for a job from your real costs, or see what you would actually make at a price you have in mind.
- AnalyticsSee how many people view your profile, sessions and link page, where they come from, and how your bookings, invoices and galleries are doing.
- InvitationsBuild a beautiful event invitation web page for a client, with their photos, the event details and an RSVP form. Included on every paid plan.
Your account and plan
- SettingsChange your name, phone, sign-in email and password, manage billing, sign out, or delete your account.
