Gallery slideshow

Turn on the slideshow, pick music, timing and transition, and save. Your client gets a Play slideshow button that plays a video of the gallery they can also download.

On this page

A slideshow turns a gallery into a short video set to music. Clients play it in their gallery and can download it to keep.

Set it up

  1. Open the gallery and tap Slideshow in the toolbar.
  2. Switch the slideshow on.
  3. Under Music, tap + Add music to upload a song (MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV or OGG, under 40 MB). Or choose No music (silent). Tap Remove to delete a song you added.
  4. Set Seconds per photo, from 1.5 to 8 seconds.
  5. Choose a Transition: Crossfade, Slide or Cut (no transition).
  6. Set Max photos in slideshow, from 5 to 80. The default is 50.
  7. Tap Save slideshow.

The slideshow uses the gallery's photos in the order clients see them (the Custom Order). See Uploading and managing photos.

What your client sees

A Play slideshow button appears at the top of their gallery. The first time anyone presses it, Nipcy makes the video, which can take a little while. They see Creating your slideshow…, then it plays. They can then tap Download video to keep it.

Good to know

  • Only use music you have the right to use.
  • Turn the slideshow off at any time to hide the button.
  • Shorter seconds per photo and fewer photos make a shorter video.
