Client feedback and proofing
Clients can heart photos, leave notes, and with Proofing on, pick their favourites and submit the list to you. You read and answer it all from the gallery.

Your clients do not need an account to give feedback. Anyone with the link can heart photos and leave notes. Everything is saved to the gallery, so it stays even if you change the share link.
Hearts
Clients tap the heart on any photo. They do not need to give a name. In your gallery, each photo shows its heart count. To see the most loved photos first, choose Most Liked from the sort menu.
Notes and tags
Clients can leave a note on any photo. The first time, Nipcy asks them for a name like @yourname. They can add quick tags to a note: Album Cover, Print Large, Edit, Crop, B&W and Send to Family.
Everyone who opens the link sees everyone's notes, so a couple and their families can talk about the same photos.
Read and answer feedback
- In your gallery, tap the heart or comment count on a photo. The Client Feedback panel opens.
- Notes are split into Open and Addressed.
- To answer, type in Reply to client and tap Send Reply. The client sees your reply under their note.
- When you have dealt with a note, tap Mark Addressed to move it out of the way.
To see only photos with feedback, use the filter buttons in the toolbar: All, the heart count, or the comment count.
Proofing: let clients pick their favourites
Use proofing when a client needs to choose photos, for an album, prints or extra edits.
- Open the gallery and tap Settings.
- Switch on Proofing and tap Save Settings.
Your client now sees Select Photos in their gallery. They tap photos to pick them, then Submit. Nipcy asks them to confirm, because the list cannot be changed once sent.
When they submit:
- you get an email
- the gallery's row on the Galleries page changes from Proofing to Submitted
- each picked photo shows a green tick in your gallery
Gallery stats
Tap Stats in the toolbar to see:
- total views and unique viewers
- how many people came back more than once
- when the gallery was last opened
- total hearts, notes, and how many people gave a name
- the most loved photos
If nobody has opened the gallery yet, it says No views yet.
Good to know
- Hearts and notes stay with the gallery when you revoke a link and make a new one.
- Turning Proofing off again hides the select buttons from clients. Picks already submitted are kept.
- Your reply is attached to the first note on that photo.
