Your calendar (Booking Pulse)

Open Calendar from the top menu. The page is called Booking Pulse: your year at a glance, plus a month calendar for day-to-day planning. Use the ‹ and › arrows next to the year to look at other years.

Working hours at the top takes you to your Availability.

Sessions by month

A line graph with one line for each kind of work (portraits, weddings and so on), counted on the day you shoot it. It shows when your busy months are.

• On a computer, point at a line to see that month's sessions.
• On a phone, tap a point.
• Tap Show as table to see the same numbers as a table, and Show graph to switch back.

Your year

One bar showing what your year is made of, split by kind of work, with how many are done and how many are coming up. If nothing is booked yet you will see "Nothing booked in" and the year.

The month calendar

Each day can have coloured dots:

• Session: a booking
• Event: a signed contract on that date
• Not signed yet (a hollow dot): a contract you've sent that the client hasn't signed yet
• Blocked: a day you blocked

Tap a day to see what is on it. On a computer the day's details open beside the calendar. On a phone they open underneath.

What you can do from a day

• A session: tap View → to go to your Sessions page.
• A contract: tap Open → to see it. Unsigned ones say Contract not signed yet. Tap Hold this date so nothing else gets booked that day, or Allow bookings that day to undo it. When a client signs, the date is held for you automatically.
• A blocked day: tap Unblock to open it up again.
• An empty day: tap Block this day to mark it as a day off.

Good to know

• What blocking does: blocking a day marks it on your calendar. It does not take mini-session slots off sale. To stop a mini-session time being booked, block the slot on the session's page. See Setting up a mini session.
• What shows on the calendar: bookings (including ones still waiting for a deposit) and every contract you've sent with an event date, signed or not. You never need to copy a contract date in by hand. A contract without an event date can't show, so fill in Event Date on the contract. A mini session with nobody booked yet does not show.
• The same month calendar appears on your dashboard home.
