Services and packages
List what you offer with prices on your profile, see what each session will really earn you, and let clients request a package.
On this page
Packages are the services you offer, like "Family session, 1 hour, 25 edited photos". They appear on your public profile. Clients ask for a package with a request, which you answer and turn into a booking or contract.
Open Manage, then Services & packages.
Your packages
Each package shows with Edit and Delete. Deleting asks Delete? first; tap Yes, delete to confirm.
At the top are two buttons: Setups (see below) and + Add service.
Add a package
Tap + Add service and fill in:
- Service name (required)
- Cover image: tap Upload cover image. JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB.
- Description: what is included, your style, what they get.
- Category (required): the kind of shoot.
- Price (USD) (required)
- Duration (required): in minutes or hours. Tick Full-day service for weddings and other all-day work.
- Edited photos delivered: how many.
- Turnaround (days): how long until delivery.
- What's included (one item per line), for example "Online gallery", "Print release".
- Intake questionnaire: a questionnaire the client fills in when they request this package. Choose the None option (use my default inquiry form) to skip it. Manage questionnaires opens your questionnaires.
Tap Add service to save. To change a package later, tap Edit, make your changes and save.
The checklist on your dashboard home asks for at least 3 services.
What this session projects
Beside the form on a computer (below it on a phone) is a small profit calculator. It works out what one session really earns you once your time and costs are counted.
- Setup: pick one of your setups if this package uses one, or No particular setup.
- Usually falls on: the day of the week it usually happens, so weekend rates are counted when they apply.
- One session shows You charge, Costs you and Projects (what is left for you).
Tap Editing time, admin, weekend rates to open your working defaults: editing time per photo, admin time per session, and extra weekend costs. Tap Save. These defaults are saved for your whole account, and every package uses them.
For a bigger, step-by-step version, see the Pricing calculator.
Setups
A setup is a space or set you shoot in that costs money to put on, like "The barn" or "With Santa". Setups only feed the profit numbers; clients never see them.
- Tap Setups, then Add your first setup (or + Add another setup).
- Fill in the Name and Where, then what it costs: Room or venue fee, Props and talent, Extra assistant, and Setup and teardown time in minutes.
- Enter Sessions per build: how many sessions you shoot each time you put it up.
- Optionally, What you charge for this setup.
- Tap Add setup.
Each setup has Edit and Remove.
How clients request a package
Each package has its own page, reached from the Packages part of your profile. It shows the price, the length, how many edited photos, the turnaround and what is included.
- The client taps Request this service.
- If the package has an intake questionnaire, they fill in Your name, Email and Phone, choose how they prefer to be contacted, answer your questions, and tap Send request. They see "Request sent!".
- If it has no questionnaire, they use the enquiry form on your profile instead.
The request appears in Requests on your Sessions page and in Needs you on your dashboard. From there you can reply, or tap Turn into a contract to start a contract filled in from it.
Good to know
- Packages are requests, not instant bookings. For a time slot clients book and pay for themselves, set up a mini session.
- Mini sessions you create do not show in this list. They have their own page under Sessions.
- No commission: whatever you charge, you keep.
